The Key Account Manager (KAM) leads sales at a corpodscsdfsfsfarfrate level and serves as the primary liaison between our customer and Groupe Marcelle. This position focuses on building customer alliances, establishing and maintaining product market leadership and achieving short and long term sales objectives by identifying customer needs and providing solutions to create a professional partnership between the customer and Groupe Marcelle.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and will understand the need for integrated thinking across marketing, sales, operations, logistics and customer service.

 

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and execute against revenue growth opportunities and meet key internal objectives for increasing sales, profitability and margin objectives.

  • Create and execute key account plans to achieve aggressive goals and objectives for continued growth.

  • Own relationship with portfolio of largest top performing customer accounts; manage to high standards of growth, performance, customer loyalty and satisfaction. Assume responsibility for all aspects of account relationship and performance, including member loyalty/churn, growth, buyer experience, policy adherence, payment of fees.

  • Provide crucial guidance to internal marketing customers in areas of buyer experience, field and listing optimization,  inventory management,   product sell through 

  • Identify needs and opportunities in trade marketing vehicles.

  • Manage the portfolio budget and accurately report budget activity to Vice President, Sales. 

  • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge and relationships with key retail decision makers with an approach focused on identifying needs and providing solutions.

  • Plan, organize and deliver effective and approved presentations to our retail partner to grow sales and product and or program awareness.

  • Seek out, establish and maintain an excellent level of communication with internal key stakeholders.

  • Provide all necessary and requested field data on a timely basis. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A valid and active driver's license is required for this position.

  • Excellent written communication skills.

  • Minimum 5 years sales experience in the retail industry at a corporate level.

  • Experience in Cosmetic /Skincare markets highly desired.
